On March 19, 2016, FlyDubai Flight 981 crashed during an aborted landing at Rostov-on-Don Airport in Russia resulting in the death of all 62 persons on board (55 passengers and 7 crew members). The Boeing 737-800 being operated as FlyDubai Flight 981 was a scheduled international flight from Dubai to Rostov-on-Don.
