On August 16, 2015, the ATR 42-300 aircraft being operated by Trianga Air Service as Flight 267 from Sentani Airport in Jayapura to Oksibil Airport in Oksibil, Indonesia crashed in the jungle of Papua, Indonesia. All 49 passengers and 5 crew members on board perished. It was the deadliest crash involving an ATR 42 aircraft and the deadliest crash in the airline’s history.
