More Engine fires are cause for alarm
On two recent occasions, an engine on a commercial aircraft caught fire, following other such dangerous occurrences. On May 23, 2017, an engine on United Airline Flight 1579, a Boeing 757 carrying 124 passengers and 7 crew on a flight from Newark to San Francisco, caught fire shortly before takeoff from Newark airport.
Then, less than two months later, an engine caught fire on United/ Sky West Flight 5869, a CRJ aircraft carrying 65 passengers and crew, shortly after landing in Denver after a flight from Aspen.
Wisner Law Firm represented over 100 passengers and crew of British Air Flight 2276 in obtaining compensation for them for their physical and psychological injuries resulting from an engine fire on that Boeing aircraft at McCarron International airport in Las Vegas.
Wisner Law Firm presently is representing over 40 passengers of American Airlines Flight 383 who suffered similar injuries in another engine fire at Chicago’s O’Hare International airport on October 28, 2016.
